Services We Offer at Jimare Wellness Counseling
We offer a full range of outpatient substance abuses services: education, treatment and continuing care. We offer all DUI services required by the courts as well as those required by the Secretary of State for reinstatement of driving privileges. Other legal issues may prompt the courts or the Secretary of State to ask for an assessment of use of alcohol and/or other drugs. An individual may also notice that there are increasing issues with the use of alcohol or other drugs and want to learn more about what is happening and how to keep it from becoming more of a problem. Whatever the situation, we are here to help people have a happy and satisfying life free of any disturbance due to the use of alcohol and/or other drugs.
DUI Services
DUI Services include evaluations for Court or the Secretary of State related to a DUI arrest or statutory summary suspension as well as DUI Risk Education and other recommendations.
Spirituality in Recovery Program
Our Spirituality in Recovery Program is an ongoing coaching program consisting of group sessions and monthly individual consultation with a coach who has experience in the field of addiction treatment and pastoral ministry. Spirituality is an essential element in recovery because of the devastating consequences of chemical dependency on a person and his/her life.
Adult IOP
Adult IOP is intensive outpatient treatment for men and women 18 years of age and older. It usually involves nine or more hours per week of group therapy for a period of 75 hours. Call today for more details.
Secretary of State Hearings
There are two elements of key importance prior to having an administrative hearing. The first is a properly prepared evaluation and completion of recommendations made in the evaluation. Adult Outpatient Treatment
Adult outpatient treatment is for men and women 18 years of age and older. It is counseling that allows people to reflect on their experience and achieve the goals of their individual treatment plan in a group setting.

About us
Magdalena and Jim Miller have spent their entire lives helping people achieve their most important goals and highest aspirations. For the last fifteen years, we have focused on issues related to the use of alcohol and/or other drugs. In 2014, seeing the need for a more conveniently located program to serve those mandated by court to complete substance abuse services, we opened Jimare Wellness Counseling Center in Cicero. We have been blessed to serve hundreds of men and women of all ages since then. We have seen the power of the interventions we provide, their benefit to our clients, and the transformation of relationships and families never ceases to amaze us. We would like to help anyone that needs or can benefit from educational programs and outpatient or intensive outpatient treatment related to substance abuse and its impact on the family and society in general. General Questions
If you have a court case, whether DUI or something else, and have had an evaluation or assessment that made recommendations, gather a copy of the evaluation or assessment, the court sentence, the name of your court caseworker, and your photo ID, and give us a call to set up an appointment. We will explain details, agree with you on a schedule of attendance and payments, and get in touch with your caseworker so they know you’re enrolled. You’ll be completed sooner than you imagined.
Treatment is helpful to make one aware of how they got to where they are and how to get back to where they want to be. Whether one is aware of it or not, even moderate use of alcohol and/or other drugs can have a negative impact on our life. Whether we are pushed into treatment by the court or some other problem, or whether one decides for him/herself that things need to change, the intervention of treatment or education will open new horizons as yet unseen. The cost of the program will depend on the recommendations of the evaluation or assessment. We will explain payment plans in detail with you before you enroll. Our counselors are certified alcohol and drug counselors (CADC) and are qualified to supply all DUI services, including Risk Education and DUI Uniform Reports (evaluations). In addition, our counselors have the experience and competence to assist you with Secretary of State requirements for license reinstatement.
